Frequently Asked Questions

What a Property Finder does……

  • A buying agent is a professional who acts exclusively for the buyer in the property market. They are responsible for finding the ideal property that matches the buyer's criteria and negotiating the best terms on their behalf.

  • Property finders specialise in sourcing and negotiating the purchase of property on behalf of the buyer. A property finder will develop an understanding of the client's requirements, desires and property goals, and then attempt to find a property which matches all of these requirements.

  • A property finder is not the same as a buying agent. While both professionals assist in the property buying process, they serve different interests and responsibilities. A property finder acts on behalf of the buyer, helping them find and purchase a property that meets their specific needs and preferences. They may also negotiate the purchase price and terms on behalf of the buyer. In contrast, a buying agent, also known as a property finder, represents the buyer and is not bound by the same legal obligations as an estate agent.
